Soneva Secret

Thirteen sanctuaries. An untouched atoll. A world where privacy is not an added detail, but the beginning of everything. Soneva Secret is the brand’s most intimate retreat, set between clear water, open sky and living reef in the Makunudhoo Atoll.

Beach villas hide among island greenery, opening onto soft sand with private pools and generous outdoor spaces. Overwater villas place the lagoon beneath you, with retractable roofs, expansive decks and slides into the sea. The world’s first Sea Lofts go further still: reached only by boat, they float within a remote marine landscape, with uninterrupted horizons in every direction. For those who wish to keep the island entirely to themselves, Soneva Secret can also be reserved in full.

Days follow curiosity rather than a schedule. Snorkel thriving reefs, seek manta rays in protected waters, cross the ocean by zipline or disappear to a private sandbank for breakfast or dinner. Younger guests find their own world of creativity at The Den, while evenings might bring stargazing at the observatory or a private film beneath the island sky.

Soneva Soul brings wellbeing into the privacy of each villa through dedicated spa pavilions, personalised treatments, yoga, Pilates, movement and mindful rituals. Dining unfolds at the same unhurried pace, guided by a Barefoot Butler: fresh ingredients, lunches by the shore, dinners under the stars, and cheese, chocolate and ice cream rooms open around the clock. Nothing feels imposed. Everything feels considered.
