Soneva Jani

A world suspended between water and sky. Set within the Noonu Atoll, Soneva Jani follows the rhythm of its lagoon: movement and stillness, discovery and rest, all held within one extraordinary island landscape.

This is where slides into the ocean were born. Overwater villas seem to belong to the lagoon itself, with uninterrupted views, retractable roofs, expansive decks, private pools and signature slides descending into clear water. Beach villas hide among tropical greenery and open onto soft sand, while larger island and overwater residences create generous spaces for gathering, celebrating and simply being together.

Days begin wherever curiosity leads. Paddle at sunrise, snorkel the Medhufaru Lagoon among turtles, rays and colourful marine life, play tennis or padel beneath the palms, or take a slower journey by kayak or sail. Cinema Paradiso brings classic films above the lagoon beneath open skies. For younger guests, The Den — the Maldives’ largest children’s club — extends across more than 1,500 square metres, with pirate ships, slides, a zipline, creative spaces and complimentary daily experiences.

Soneva Soul balances movement with restoration through yoga, breathwork, Pilates and personalised treatments. Dining moves from sea to table and garden to plate: breakfast overwater, castaway picnics on secluded sand and evenings shaped by the island. At Soneva Jani, play is taken seriously, the horizon is always close, and no two days need follow the same course.
