Shangri-La Le Touessrok, Mauritius

Nestled along the peaceful shores of Trou d’Eau Douce, Shangri-La Le Touessrok is an elegant tropical resort with white-sand beaches and uninterrupted Indian Ocean views. Nature-inspired interiors, warm Mauritian hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere create a refined setting for both family holidays and romantic escapes.

The resort offers 30 rooms, 152 suites and three private villas, including spacious connecting and two-bedroom family accommodation. Many rooms and suites face the ocean or enjoy direct beach access, allowing families to remain close to the sand and lagoon.

A special feature is the largest Kids Club in Mauritius. Open daily from 9:00 to 22:00, it welcomes children aged 4–11 and teenagers aged 12–17 with complimentary supervised entertainment. Facilities include a dedicated children’s pool and a mini kitchen with pizza ovens, alongside an extensive programme of creative, sporting, indoor and outdoor activities. Babysitting can also be arranged, while children’s menus are available throughout the resort’s restaurants.

Families can enjoy mini football, beach soccer, tennis, padel, cycling, nature trails and kayak excursions through the mangroves. The calm lagoon invites guests to try snorkelling, paddleboarding, windsurfing, water skiing, sailing and glass-bottom boat trips.

Five restaurants and three bars offer Mauritian, Indian, Japanese and international cuisine. Parents may retreat to the adults-only pool, CHI, The Spa or one of two championship golf courses. Exclusive access to Ilot Mangénie—a private island with secluded beaches, dining and spa experiences—adds an especially memorable dimension to an elegant family stay.
