Raffles Seychelles

Gracing the northern shore of Praslin, the second-largest of the Seychelles’ 115 islands, Raffles Seychelles is an elegant tropical retreat surrounded by palm-covered hills and the luminous Indian Ocean. Authentic island living is expressed with quiet sophistication, while a thoughtful commitment to sustainability reflects the rare beauty of its surroundings. From Mahé, guests may arrive by domestic flight, high-speed ferry, private yacht or helicopter directly to the resort’s helipad.

Across the hillside above Anse Takamaka, 87 spacious villas offer exceptional privacy, each with its own pool and generous outdoor living areas. Elevated villas reveal sweeping views over the forest and ocean, while those closer to the shore are immersed in secluded tropical gardens. Refined interiors and expansive proportions create graceful sanctuaries for couples, families and multigenerational escapes.

Dining unfolds in distinctive settings. Curieuse presents Asian flavours amid romantic gardens, while Losean offers open-air dining accompanied by panoramic ocean views. The Sushi Room celebrates the Seychelles’ abundant seafood through delicate Japanese cuisine, and Danzil Bar & Lounge provides a sophisticated setting for sunset cocktails. Bespoke private dinners and Creole cooking experiences add an intimate culinary dimension.

A particularly special distinction is the resort’s place in Raffles history: opened in 2011, it was the brand’s first resort and remains an all-villa retreat within a UNESCO area.

Raffles Spa offers a serene counterpoint to island adventures, from diving and yacht excursions to visits to La Digue and the Vallée de Mai. Younger guests are thoughtfully welcomed at the complimentary Sugar Palm Kids Club, with nature experiences, creative activities and encounters with giant Aldabra tortoises completing an exceptional stay for every generation.
