One&Only Mandarina

One&Only Mandarina is set within the coastal rainforest of Riviera Nayarit, where jungle-covered hills descend towards a swimmable white-sand beach. Immersed in nature, the resort offers a rare sense of space and seclusion while maintaining the polished, intuitive service associated with One&Only.Accommodation consists entirely of standalone treehouses, cliff villas and private homes. Elevated among the forest canopy, the eco-chic Treehouses feature generous terraces and private plunge pools, while larger villas provide multiple bedrooms, expansive living areas and panoramic ocean views. This independent layout ensures considerable privacy for couples, families and groups.

Dining reflects the character of Riviera Nayarit. At clifftop Carao, acclaimed chef Enrique Olvera offers a contemporary interpretation of Mexican cuisine. Alma presents Mediterranean-inspired dishes using produce from the resort’s garden, while Jetty Beach Club focuses on fresh fish and local seafood. Private breakfasts, beach dinners and in-villa dining can also be arranged.

The rainforest spa combines indigenous traditions with modern therapies and includes a mud grotto, vitality pool, saunas and steam rooms. Beyond wellness, guests can enjoy surfing, golf, polo, horse riding, jungle ziplining, culinary classes and seasonal whale-watching excursions. Younger travellers are welcomed with dedicated KidsOnly activities.

One&Only Mandarina is particularly well suited to discerning couples, active families and multigenerational groups seeking privacy without isolation. Its principal advantage is the combination of striking nature, private-pool accommodation and an unusually diverse programme. The equestrian and polo club is a particularly distinctive feature, allowing guests to ride from the jungle towards the Pacific coast.
