Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels & Resorts

Set on the serene southern coast of Mahé, overlooking the sheltered waters of Anse aux Poules Bleues, Mango House Seychelles is an intimate retreat with just 41 rooms and suites. Tropical gardens, calm crystalline water and warm, residential interiors create an atmosphere of relaxed elegance, complemented by the personalised character of the LXR collection.

Accommodation is arranged across several houses, with natural materials, traditional furnishings, sunlit balconies and décor inspired by the Seychelles. Cliff House rooms and suites offer panoramic bay and ocean views, while selected Ocean House and Bay House suites feature private plunge pools. The three-bedroom Bay House combines a large terrace, private pool and generous living and dining spaces for families or groups of friends.

Four distinctive dining venues celebrate the resort’s international outlook and island heritage. Kokoye Lounge pairs Japanese cuisine with crafted cocktails and views across the bay. Muse presents regional Italian flavours in a convivial sharing style, while beachfront Moutya explores authentic Creole cuisine. Soley serves fresh poolside dishes and tropical drinks, with tailor-made private dinners available in selected resort settings.

Something especially distinctive is Mango House’s artistic history. The property was once the private family home of celebrated Italian fashion photographer Gian Paolo Barbieri, and his creative spirit continues through its design, warmth and sense of togetherness.

The intimate anpe spa offers ocean-view treatment suites, locally sourced products and handcrafted scrubs. Guests can also enjoy the swimming pool, snorkelling, coastal hikes, diving expeditions, forest treks and bespoke excursions by boat, car or helicopter. Creole curry demonstrations, pizza-making classes and private seaside picnics add a personal dimension to this elegant Mahé hideaway.
