Hotel Conte

Woven into the historic fabric of Perast, Hotel Conte offers an authentic stay between the waters of Boka Bay and the steep slopes of Mount Lovćen. The UNESCO-protected town, once an important maritime centre, is distinguished by its Baroque churches, stone houses and elegant palaces dating from the 17th and 18th centuries.

The family-owned hotel occupies five carefully restored Baroque stone buildings positioned around Perast. Their original architecture and historic details have been preserved, while interiors introduce contemporary comfort and views of the sea or surrounding mountains. The main palace stands on the central square and houses the reception and restaurant; four nearby annexes offer greater privacy, with selected accommodation featuring separate entrances, courtyards, kitchens, a swimming pool or outdoor Jacuzzi.

Guests can choose from intimate double rooms, apartments and 11 spacious family suites. A three-bedroom villa with a private garden and pool accommodates up to six guests, while sea-view apartments with separate bedrooms and living spaces are well suited to longer stays and family holidays.

Conte Restaurant extends directly towards the waterfront, creating an atmospheric setting for Montenegrin and Mediterranean cuisine. Seafood and regional specialities are complemented by a carefully considered selection of local and international wines.

Private boat trips can be arranged to nearby beaches and marinas, alongside excursions to Montenegro’s national parks and airport transfers. Guests arriving by boat may also reserve the hotel’s complimentary berth for vessels up to ten metres.

Hotel Conte’s distinctive appeal lies in its intimate relationship with Perast—a characterful heritage retreat where local life, historic architecture and the quiet beauty of Boka Bay remain at the heart of the experience.
