Grecotel Caramel

A luxurious and enchanting boutique resort, born out of a desire to create an idyllic beachfront haven true to the aristocratic Venetian era of Rethymno. Caramel is love at first sight, infused with a great sense of warmth, conviviality and indulgence.

Individually designed suites, bungalows, maisonettes and villas blend retro glamour with discreet luxury. Handmade tiles, designer fabrics, antiques and spa-inspired bathrooms bring character to every space, while selected villas offer private gardens, heated pools or direct beach access.

Days unfold beside a beautiful stretch of beach or around the spectacular 700 m² seawater Confetti Pool with hydro-massage. The wellness centre, fully equipped gym, yoga and Pilates invite complete relaxation, while tennis, padel, cycling and water activities add a sense of adventure.

Dining celebrates Crete through hand-picked ingredients, imaginative Mediterranean cuisine and elegant settings. Guests can enjoy gourmet dining beside the Confetti Pool, cocktails overlooking the Cretan Riviera, authentic farm-to-table flavours at Agreco Farm or a bespoke candlelit dinner by the beach, pool or private villa.

Families are warmly welcomed with Grecoland activities and thoughtful services for younger guests. Refined yet wonderfully relaxed, Caramel is a luminous Cretan hideaway for romantic escapes, stylish family holidays and unforgettable celebrations by the sea.
