Cook's Club El Gouna

Set on the shore of El Gouna’s saltwater lagoon, Cook’s Club El Gouna is an adults-only retreat approximately 30 minutes from Hurghada International Airport and a short drive from downtown. Minimalist design is softened by Bedouin-inspired details, creating an atmosphere that moves easily between relaxed days by the water and sociable evenings shaped by music.

The hotel’s compact 20-square-metre rooms offer clean, calming interiors with king or twin beds. Guests may choose tranquil garden views, direct views across the lagoon or a private ground-floor terrace. A dedicated Solo Saver category reflects the hotel’s welcoming approach to independent travellers, while its shared spaces encourage natural interaction.

At Cantina, dishes are prepared fresh throughout the day, combining expressive Egyptian flavours with internationally inspired favourites. The adjoining bar, daily music programme and poolside DJ sessions give dining a relaxed, contemporary rhythm without formal ceremony.

Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a private lagoon beach and a thoughtfully equipped gym. Guests can begin with morning yoga, paddleboard across the lagoon, play table tennis or explore the Red Sea’s coral reefs on a snorkelling excursion. Beyond the hotel, quad-bike and dune adventures reveal the surrounding desert landscape.

Something especially distinctive is the hotel’s direct relationship with the saltwater lagoon. Guests can step from the social heart of the property onto a paddleboard and explore the water at their own pace, then return for sunset drinks and music beside the pool. This balance of design, activity and conviviality makes Cook’s Club particularly suited to adults seeking a stylish, informal and socially engaging Red Sea stay.
