Constance Prince Maurice

Set on the sheltered northeast coast of Mauritius, Constance Prince Maurice is an intimate retreat where tropical gardens, mangroves and ivory sands meet a tranquil lagoon. A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, the resort combines elegant architecture with a calm, residential atmosphere and attentive personalised service.

Accommodation ranges from garden and beachfront junior suites to family suites, villas on stilts and beach villas with private pools. Positioned beside the lagoon or within lush vegetation, each offers privacy and a graceful connection with the surrounding landscape. The Princely Villa provides the resort’s most expansive setting for families or friends travelling together.

Gastronomy is central to the experience. At Archipel, Executive Chef Michael Scioli blends classical French techniques with Mauritian flavours, using fresh local ingredients and island spices to create refined cuisine with a distinctive sense of place. The Asian restaurant presents delicate contemporary dishes, while Le Barachois—Mauritius’ only floating seafood restaurant—is reached by a wooden walkway through the mangroves and set within a natural fish reserve.

The wine cellar, described by the hotel as the largest in the Indian Ocean, holds more than 25,000 selected bottles and offers tastings and carefully considered pairings.

Something especially distinctive is the harmony between the resort and its protected natural setting, expressed most memorably through the suites and villas built on stilts above the lagoon.

Constance Spa is surrounded by frangipani and tropical plants, with tailored treatments complemented by a pool, sauna and fitness facilities. Guests also enjoy access to the 18-hole Legend and Links championship golf courses, alongside tennis, diving, kitesurfing and paddleboarding. Elegant and unhurried, Constance Prince Maurice is ideal for romantic escapes and sophisticated family holidays.
