Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles

Set along the golden sands of Barbarons Beach on Mahé’s tranquil west coast, Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles combines contemporary island style with far-reaching Indian Ocean views. Located approximately 30 minutes from Seychelles International Airport, the resort has a relaxed, sociable atmosphere, with spectacular sunsets providing a graceful close to each day.

Its 192 rooms and suites offer a choice of garden, lagoon and ocean settings. Particularly distinctive are the Lagoon Access Rooms, which allow guests to step directly from their terrace into the water. Spacious suites provide additional room for families, while the four-bedroom beachfront villa features a private pool and direct access to the sand, creating an exclusive retreat for extended families or groups of friends.

Dining celebrates both Seychellois character and international variety. Pti-Bazar presents Creole and global cuisine, while Somewhere combines fresh seafood and grilled dishes with an open show kitchen. Bar Barons offers light bites and drinks in a relaxed setting, and Zil Bar serves refreshments from its swim-up position. Private dinners beside the ocean can also be arranged for a more intimate occasion.

Something special about the resort is its immediate connection to Barbarons Bay: guests can move effortlessly between lagoon-access accommodation, two swimming pools and the beach, while the west-facing setting offers beautiful sunset views.

AvaniSpa provides relaxing wellness treatments, complemented by sunrise yoga, meditation and the fully equipped AvaniFit gym. Snorkelling, diving, water sports, marine-park excursions and boat trips reveal the surrounding seascape, while Creole cooking classes offer an introduction to local flavours. With daily children’s activities, family-friendly accommodation and spacious leisure areas, the resort offers a polished yet easy-going Seychelles stay for couples and families alike.
