Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat

Greek-island romance meets the tranquillity of the Arabian Gulf at Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat, an intimate adults-only sanctuary on the peaceful coast of Ghantoot. Positioned between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the retreat evokes the spirit of the Aegean through whitewashed architecture, sculpted forms and serene blue-and-white interiors.

With only 22 sea-facing rooms and suites, the atmosphere is exceptionally private. Oia Rooms feature balconies with uninterrupted Gulf views, Fira Rooms open onto generous terraces, and Perissa Rooms provide direct access to the beach. The magnificent 255 m² Royal Santorini Duplex Suite offers panoramic views, spacious living areas and two outdoor terraces.

Dining is personal and refined. Thalassa celebrates Mediterranean cuisine with Greek influences, while Oia Oasis explores the flavours of Arabia. Apollo serves light dishes and drinks beside the infinity pool, and private Designer Dining experiences can be arranged in secluded locations with a dedicated chef and butler. Guests can also discover regional flavours through interactive Spice Spoons cooking classes.

Days unfold between the pristine beach and an infinity-edge pool that appears to merge with the sea. Glass kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkelling, sunrise yoga and Arabic perfume workshops offer gentle ways to explore and reconnect. A private cinema with luxurious bed-style seating creates an intimate setting for evenings.

Anantara Spa features two treatment rooms, a Moroccan hammam, Himalayan salt sauna, steam room and cold-plunge pool, complemented by massages and wellness rituals.

The retreat’s distinctive appeal lies in its scale: discreet service, uninterrupted sea views and Aegean-inspired elegance create a quiet, deeply romantic escape designed for couples, celebrations and exclusive private stays.
