Anantara Layan Phuket Resort

Resting beside a tranquil cove on Phuket’s north-western coast, Anantara Layan Phuket Resort combines a secluded beachfront setting with sweeping views across the Andaman Sea. Lush hillsides descend towards the sands of Layan Beach, creating an atmosphere that feels private, peaceful and distinctly refined.

The resort comprises 30 rooms and suites, 42 pool villas and 27 exceptional hillside residences. Accommodation ranges from elegant sunset-facing rooms to intimate pool villas for couples and expansive multi-bedroom retreats for families. The Layan Residences offer the highest level of privacy, with panoramic sea views, infinity pools, generous indoor-outdoor spaces, live-in butler service and a private Thai chef.

Five restaurants present a sophisticated culinary collection. Zuma brings internationally recognised contemporary Japanese dining to Phuket, Dara celebrates modern Thai cuisine alongside stargazing experiences, and Age specialises in premium meats, locally caught seafood and fine wines. Beach House Layan offers relaxed Mediterranean flavours beside the sea, while private dinners and in-villa dining can be arranged for more intimate occasions.

Wellbeing is elevated through Anantara Spa and Layan Life, an integrated wellness destination combining modern science with holistic traditions. Personalised programmes focus on longevity, fitness, stress recovery and overall balance. Guests can also practise yoga, train in the resort’s Muay Thai stadium, play tennis or explore Layan Active Zone, where a 400-metre zipline, climbing wall and archery create a more adventurous rhythm.

The Chang Club welcomes children aged 4–12 with creative and active experiences, complemented by a Teen Zone and family recreation. Anantara Layan’s distinctive appeal lies in the breadth of its experience: secluded beach living, exceptional residences, destination dining and transformative wellness brought together within one elegant Phuket sanctuary.
